TREK CANCELLATIONS BY THE TREKKERS TRAIL

WHILE TREK/TOUR CANCELLATIONS ARE RARE, CERTAIN UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES MAY NECESSITATE THEM, INCLUDING:

  • FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS (NATURAL CALAMITIES SUCH AS FLOODS, LANDSLIDES, SNOWSTORMS, OR EARTHQUAKES).
  • GOVERNMENT ORDERS OR REVOKED TREKKING PERMISSIONS.
  • EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS MAKING TREKKING UNSAFE.
  • POLITICAL UNREST OR PANDEMIC-RELATED RESTRICTIONS.

IN CASE OF TREK/TOUR CANCELLATION

  • A VOUCHER EQUAL TO THE FULL TREK/TOUR FEE (EXCLUDING TREK/TOUR INSURANCE) WILL BE ISSUED.
  • THE VOUCHER IS VALID FOR 1 YEAR AND CAN BE REDEEMED FOR ANY FUTURE TREK/TOUR.
  • REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED DUE TO THE NON-RECOVERABLE COSTS INVOLVED IN TREK/TOUR PREPARATIONS.

WHY WE CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR TREK/TOUR CANCELLATIONS

SIGNIFICANT EXPENSES ARE INCURRED BEFORE THE TREK/TOUR BEGINS, INCLUDING:

  • EQUIPMENT TRANSPORTATION AND FOOD SUPPLIES.
  • PRE-BOOKED ACCOMMODATIONS AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS.
  • TREK/TOUR PERMITS AND EXPENSES FOR LOCAL SUPPORT TEAMS.
  • STAFF SALARIES, INCLUDING MULETEERS, PORTERS, AND TREK/TOUR COORDINATORS.

TO ENSURE FAIRNESS TO OUR TEAM AND SUSTAIN TREK/TOUR OPERATIONS, WE PROVIDE VOUCHERS INSTEAD OF REFUNDS.


PRE-TOUR SERVICES

  • IF YOU AVAIL ANY PRE-TOUR SERVICES—SUCH AS TRANSPORTATION, ACCOMMODATION, TRAIN TICKETS, FLIGHT TICKETS, BUS SERVICES, OR ANY FORM OF ASSISTANCE—AND LATER CHOOSE NOT TO JOIN THE MAIN TOUR, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED FOR THE UNUSED PORTION OF THESE SERVICES. THESE ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE IN ADVANCE AND ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE CONFIRMED.
  • WE CAN ARRANGE TRAIN AND FLIGHT TICKETS AT AN ADDITIONAL COST, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND FARE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. TTT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR TICKET CANCELLATIONS, WAITLISTS, OR AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES. WE RECOMMEND BOOKING EARLY TO SECURE THE BEST RATES.

  • THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES, EVEN IF THE PARTICIPATES VOLUNTARILY WITHDRAWS.

VOUCHER USAGE & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • TYPES OF VOUCHERS: THE TREKKERS TRAIL MAY ISSUE VARIOUS TYPES OF VOUCHERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DISCOUNT VOUCHERS, REFUND VOUCHERS, AND PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS. EACH VOUCHER IS VALID FOR ONE-TIME USE ONLY AND SUBJECT TO THE TERMS STATED ON THE VOUCHER ITSELF.
  • LIMITATION OF VOUCHER USE: ONLY ONE VOUCHER MAY BE APPLIED PER BOOKING. MULTIPLE VOUCHERS CANNOT BE COMBINED OR STACKED FOR A SINGLE TRANSACTION.
  • NON-TRANSFERABILITY AND CASH RESTRICTIONS: ALL VOUCHERS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND MAY ONLY BE REDEEMED BY THE ORIGINAL RECIPIENT. VOUCHERS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED FOR CASH OR ANY OTHER MONETARY VALUE.
  • EXPIRY: EACH VOUCHER SHALL HAVE A CLEARLY STATED EXPIRY DATE. VOUCHERS MUST BE REDEEMED PRIOR TO THIS DATE. EXPIRED VOUCHERS SHALL BE CONSIDERED VOID AND WILL NOT BE HONORED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
  • CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS MADE USING VOUCHERS: IN THE EVENT THAT A BOOKING MADE USING A VOUCHER IS CANCELLED—EITHER BY THE CUSTOMER OR BY THE TREKKERS TRAIL FOR ANY REASON—THE VOUCHER AMOUNT SHALL BE DEEMED FORFEITED AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED, REISSUED, OR RECLAIMED. ONLY THE PORTION OF THE PAYMENT MADE VIA CASH, CARD, OR OTHER MONETARY METHODS (IF ANY) SHALL BE SUBJECT TO REFUND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMPANY’S CANCELLATION POLICY.
  • FULL VALUE REDEMPTION: VOUCHERS MUST BE USED IN FULL FOR A SINGLE BOOKING. NO PARTIAL REDEMPTION OR BALANCE CARRYOVER SHALL BE PERMITTED. IF THE TRIP VALUE IS LESS THAN THE VOUCHER AMOUNT, THE UNUSED PORTION SHALL BE FORFEITED.
  • MISUSE OF VOUCHERS: ANY FORM OF MISUSE, FRAUDULENT USE, DUPLICATION, TAMPERING, OR UNAUTHORIZED APPLICATION OF A VOUCHER WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING WITHOUT REFUND.
