Booking Token & Advance Payment
To secure your trek, an advance payment is required.
The booking token is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Your trek is confirmed only after receiving an official email confirmation from The Trekkers Trail.
Cancellation Policy & Refunds
We understand that plans may change. If you need to cancel your trek, the following refund structure applies:

Refunds will be processed within 72 working hours after cancellation, and the amount will be reflected in your account within 5-7 business days.
Rescheduling Policy
If you need to change your trek date, the following rules apply:

Rescheduling for the second time
20% charge of the trek fee, regardless of the new trek date
Rescheduling to a trek that costs less

The additional amount must be paid within 24 hours
Trek Cancellations by The Trekkers Trail
While trek cancellations are rare, certain unforeseen circumstances may necessitate them, including:
Force majeure events (natural calamities such as floods, landslides, snowstorms, or earthquakes).
Government orders or revokes trekking permissions.
Extreme weather conditions make trekking unsafe.
Political unrest or pandemic-related restrictions.
In the case of Trek Cancellation
A voucher equal to the full trek fee (excluding trek insurance) will be issued.
The voucher is valid for 1 year and can be redeemed for any future trek.
Refunds will not be provided due to the non-recoverable costs involved in trek preparations.
Why We Cannot Offer Refunds for Trek Cancellations
Significant expenses are incurred before the trek begins, including:
Equipment transportation and food supplies.
Pre-booked accommodations and transport arrangements.
Trek permits and expenses for local support teams.
Staff salaries, including muleteers, porters, and trek coordinators.
To ensure fairness to our team and sustain trek operations, we provide vouchers instead of refunds.
Cancellations Due to Lack of Fitness
Trekking requires adequate physical preparation. If a trekker does not meet the required fitness levels, it can pose serious safety risks.
We communicate fitness expectations in advance via email and our website.
If a trekker is deemed unfit, The Trekkers Trail reserves the right to cancel their participation.
The standard cancellation policy applies, even if the trekker voluntarily withdraws.
All trekkers are required to follow our official fitness guidelines, available on our website. We strongly recommend reading and following these guidelines before booking a trek.

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, but this requires a special request. Please contact our team in advance to discuss transfer options.
What happens if I miss my trek departure?
If you miss the departure, you should catch up with the group as soon as possible. Generally, our team will wait for a reasonable amount of time, but if you fail to arrive, no refund will be provided.
Our Commitment to You
We value your adventure and do our best to minimize disruptions. In case of an unexpected cancellation:
We will arrange an alternative trek nearby to ensure your travel plans are not wasted.
If no alternative trek is available, you will receive a 100% trek fee voucher for future use.
